Your baby nursery idea will begin to take shape while you shop for a crib and other furniture. Just be prepared to be overwhelmed at first by the mind boggling choice of themes. You may be looking for a complete furnishing set, or you may be day-dreaming about designing your own custom decor. Often a simple, classic approach is more sensible than a frilly, over-the-top baby nursery idea with paraphernalia that will just get in the way when you are frazzled and exhausted. This collection covers just a few of the thousands of possibilities.

1. Magical Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme Decor

Who doesn't love the Mother Goose characters? Adorable watercolors bring these stories to life. Your baby will grow to love the colorful creations on the wall decor. This wonderful series will coordinate well with most baby furniture and you will easily be able to find bedding and furnishings to match. Colorful Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme quilts and blankets are a treat. This is a delightful, fresh theme.

2. Original With Other Lovable Characters

We all fall in love with certain lovable story book characters, such as Peter Rabbit or Snoopy. Winnie the Pooh is a favorite of almost any baby, and the bedding and furnishings are available to create a classic Pooh crib. Find Snoopy curled up under a friendly moon and starts. Or opt for a variety of Disney characters, such as Mickey Mouse. Furnishings with rhymes always lead to hilarity and enjoyment and can be a fun baby nursery idea.

3. Charm Your Kid With Cute Creatures

When it comes to babies, it is a given that they love cuddly animals. A vast variety of creature comforters are on offer. From farm animals to frog decor abound. For adventurous kids there is dinosaur bedding. Little girls love lady bug or butterfly designs. African safari crib bedding lends itself to endless bedtime stories. Dolphins, adorable puppies and Noahs Ark will also be well-loved.

4. Anything On Wheels Will Appeal

Boys love fire truck crib bedding as a baby nursery idea. Be different and decorate with Harley Davidsons. Alternatively take to the sky with airplane decor. Another old favorite on wheels is a train theme. Kids love cars and anything that moves or make a noise. So indulge them in their room.

5. Naptime On A Nautical Note

Ship Ahoy! Tell tales of sea creatures and far-away, dreamy places with furnishings on a nautical note. From ships and sails to whale's tales and other ocean critters will stimulate little imaginations. This is the stuff bedtime stories should be made of. Every night another place and a new animal.

6. Sporting A Lively Theme

Dads will probably opt for this one if they are involved in decorating for a boy. Every sport under the sun is now represented in cot accessories. Baseball fans can choose their favorite colors, while football and basketball enthusiasts have not been forgotten. Just don't put too much pressure on the growing little person. Remember dad, this is his life - not your second chance...

7. Proudly Display Your Patchwork Creations

This baby nursery idea comes in every conceivable color and pattern. It often is a sensible choice, as the inevitable spills and mishaps won't be as noticeable. Patchwork quilts often become heirlooms. Perhaps you can make your own quilt from fabrics scraps with a story attached to each one. That can make for some interesting bedtime tales. Plaids are also a good choice, if you don't fancy patchwork.

8. A Star For Your Little Star

Watch your baby's face lit up as he or she discovers the wonders of creation. Why not help in this process with the moon, stars, planets and spaceships on bedding and curtains. All sorts of wonderful accessories can be added to complement this theme. You may have to brush up on your own knowledge about the subject, but you will need to do that anyway when your child reaches school-going age. With an outer space crib set your bundle of joy will go on many an adventure.

9. Turn Back The Clock With A Vintage Theme

Perhaps your family has some heirlooms you would like to incorporate in your design. With the right furniture, an old-world look can be quite something. You can always introduce a touch of color and some modern elements to stimulate the baby's senses. Try to use a variety of fabric textures for tactile stimulation when expanding on this baby nursery idea.

10. Teach To Care With Care Bears Bedding

These can be really adorable, with bright and cheery colors. Babies love these sets. A wide variety of accessories are also available, from bedtime bears to potty seats and keepsake pillow sets. You can also find delightful Care Bear lamps, area rugs, crib organizers and wall borders to go with the cot set and curtains.

Full sets usually include the fitted sheet, a quilt of some sort, pillow cases, crib bumper, dust ruffle, curtains and valance. Many manufacturers dream up all sorts of adorable, matching accessories to bring the room together. Wall hangings always help to create a warm effect.

So, get yourself a cup of tea, kick off your shoes, pull up the rocking chair and day-dream about all the magical hours you are going to spend here, discovering all the wonders of your baby nursery idea with your little one.

				ANSWER:
No. You need to get the manufacturers name and model number of the crib, and check to make sure it hasn't been recalled.

I realize you are not in the United States, but there has been quite a lot of recalls of beds, both here and abroad. You really need to check that out.

what bedding should i give my 14 month old baby?
my son has always slept in a baby sleeping bag, but now he is getting older i would rather he have a little duvet or somthing, his sleeping bag always seems to get twisted and looks uncomfortable.
i have had a look at some duvetsfor cot beds but they look too big for his cot bed. im guessing they are for the cotbed when it has no bars on the sides?
any suggestions what to use while it is still being used as a cot? he has a winnie the pooh bedroom but there doesnt seem to be that much around?
is a pillow ok to use at this age?

			QUESTION:
Help, my 1 year old climbed out of playpen banged head and won't stop - 10points!?
Help, my 1 year old climbed out of playpen banged head and won't stop - 10points!?
My son turned 1 on Xmas eve and today he climbed out of his play pen which is actually deeper and i would have thought harder to climb out of because its netting (the winnie the pooh one from argos) He climbed up the inside corner and threw himself over, somersaulted and landed on his bum, back and then head. He didn't cry, he had a whine because he got a fright, hes been perfectly fine since (this was hours ago) eating, playing, running around, being a right little toddler. We out him back in his pen as hes started to get tired and trying to settle himself to sleep, but the second i put him in it he keeps trying to climb back out the same way he did earlier. I'm guessing this isn't going to stop now that he's figured out how to escape? Does this meen that the pen is no longer safe to keep him in? We're about to have our second child (due 21st) and he was to go stay with his nan whilst we got settled in, but if hes climbing out of the pen,its not going to work is it? He's been trying to climb out the cot for some time but his feet slip through the slats so he doesn't quite make it. Does this mean we should take the bars of now and he sleeps in his toddler bed? Really worried about this because hes still at eating everything hands into everything stage.

Really need some help, was your little one as young as this and how did you figure this one out?

				ANSWER:
My sister ended up having to get one of those teppe nets that attach to a crib. Her son started climbing out at 1...so they tried the toddler bed thing. Well her son climbed up a 6 foot bookshelf and threw everything on the ground, while everyone was sleeping. Thankfully he did not fall off and hurt himself. He was a crazy little monkey, and it was much safer to keep him in his crib then let him have the freedom. So maybe try the toddler bed 1st, and if that doesn't work try the mesh cover. BTW my daughter was in a toddler bed at 17 months...but she is the opposite of her cousin, she would never climb out of her crib or climb everything in site. She just started using the potty at that ageand needed the freedom of being able to use the bathroom if she needed too. Good Luck but it sounds like you have a little monkey too!

Really need some help, was your little one as young as this and how did you figure this one out?

				ANSWER:
I think I would go ahead and put him in the toddler bed or remove the rails. You know hes got it figured out and its only a matter of time before he conquers the crib...lol...As far as picking up everything and putting it in his mouth I think I would put a gate across his door and childproof his room. That way if he gets out of the bed he will be confined but safe. Or if you need a few minutes to do something you can put him in his room where he will be safe. He will grow out of the putting things in his mouth stage....that climbing will be a part of him so you might as well try to teach him to do it safely. Sounds like a pretty adventurous little guy! Hes curious of the world around him. Just make it as safe as possible for him and let him explore! Be sure all blind cords, drop cords, lamps, etc are not in his reach or removed from his room. You can never be too careful. So yes Mom, give him the toddler bed before he hurts himself. Give him wings and let him soar!

If you have ever had a puppy then you know that they will go through teething, like a minor, and they will chew on just about everything that's in your puppies reach, but they always seem to love to chew on their bed more than anything else which is why you need the chew proof dog bed. The West Highland White Terrier is the number one pet in the - India and I would bet that it might be number 39 in the world as well. That's because a Kerry Blue Terrier will bring so much into your life!

When we are born some of the best parents will purchase a Yorkshire Terrier for their child to grow up with and protect them through their early years. A mistake would be to buy the Bichon Frise mattress before you even bring the Giant Schnauzer home. When your picking out a chew proof Brussels Griffon bed you will need to think about the fact that your new Eurasian is likely to chew on the bassinet at some point in time. Chew proof crates and Tibetan Terrier beds are where you shoulf be starting.

			QUESTION:
where can I get a white sleigh cot bed with drop down sides and adjustable mattress?
I have searched everywhere- ordered one from the pram centre and they phoned to say they were out of stock and wouldn't be getting anymore in so cancelled the order. The only option left that I have found is £600+ way too expensive (Boori)- the izziwotnot one has fixed sides and being shorter I had my heart set on a drop down side and 2 or 3 position mattress base.

			QUESTION:
I am looking for a bed that looks like a cot and mounts on the wall, you can fold it up and clip to wall?
This bed could have been homemade, but the outer edge looked like some sort of white pvc piping and the "bed" part was blue and felt like the material on a trampoline (the bouncy part), but had less give to it. It mounted to the wall and had chains that hooked to the front of the bed. When you were done you just folded it up to the wall and secured it with the clip.
It's not a murphy bed (those are in cabinets), this is a simple rectangle shape...no cabinets, no elaborate surroundings

				ANSWER:
It sounds like it is homemade, but it is a Murphy bed without the cabinet. Did you know you can buy (on line) a Murphy bed without the cabinet? They sell the basic mechanics of the bed. It mounts to the floor and it can be pushed up when not in use. It's way cheaper and a lot of people make their own type of cabinet to cover it. You can also find them on Craigslist once in a while. I have been looking for a Murphy bed, but because they are so expensive I have decided to buy just the mechanical parts and build a cabinet around it when my husband has time. That's about 2 years from now though.

			QUESTION:
cot bed help?
what's your favourite cot bed? All I know is that I need a white one but no idea of which one I could get

				ANSWER:
It is down to personal choice really, I paid £20 for a white one my friend was getting rid of, then spent £80 on a decent mattress. Never use a second-hand mattress, and always buy the best mattress you can afford for the cot, making sure you get it from a reputable supplier. Older mattresses can contain traces of Antimony which has been linked to Cot Death and some very old cots, particularly those painted white contain lead in the paint. I do mean really quite old though.

Go to a baby shop, Mothercare or whatever and have a look, try some out, make sure that the one you get suits you. Do the sides come down far enough? Are the latches secure? Would it be easy to clean if the baby messes it? Can it expand into a bed therefore saving you money in the long run? Are the bars secure and correctly spaced to avoid arms, legs and heads getting trapped? Do get a good, brand new mattress for it though.

Do not use a duvet until the baby is over 12 months, unless you use a duvet bag that the baby actually wears. Be aware that if you put a cot bumper around the head of the cot, it does increase the temperature slightly and reduce airflow around the cot, though they are useful. Also be aware that after the baby's first month, it does not need any more clothes than an adult, this is particularly true in warm or hot weather, rather than cold where they do need to be insulated.

Always use a nursery thermometer hung near the cot, but not in direct sunlight and use this to test whether the area is warm enough for your baby. It is best to use layers of sheets and blankets that can be added or removed as necessary than one thicker cover which may cause the baby to overheat dangerously.

Always put the baby at the bottom of the cot so they cannot wriggle down under the covers and suffocate, and always put your baby on its back, they do find their own natural sleeping positions though.

If your baby is new-born, consider getting a moses basket, these are great for making the baby feel secure and are ultra portable too, at around six months, they can be placed inside the cot (or earlier if you want) and this gets baby used to sleeping inside the cot as you are about to change their environment. If in doubt, ask your friends who have recently had babies.

As a parent to be, its very easy to spend huge amounts of money on those essential pieces of nursery equipment which you think you will need to get you through those early days. 00004000 But you really have to wonder how essential are 'the essentials'? Parents with toddlers will be more than aware of just how much money is wasted on baby equipment which is supposed to simplify and ease the process of parenting but is in fact never really used!

According to most parenting magazines, one of the 'essential' pieces of furniture which 'every nursery should have' is a changing station. Before you go running to your local baby shop or searching for the cheapest deal online to get yours, save yourself the hassle, cost and effort of buying, using and having a changing table and consider the following facts:

Changing your baby on an elevated surface can be dangerous. The SAFEST place to change your infant / toddler is at floor level.

A changing table / workstation can cost from 80 upwards depending whether you wish to have a basic table or one which matches with a particular theme / brand name.

A changing table takes up valuable room in your nursery / bathroom

A changing table is simply another surface which can harbour germs and needs to be cleaned regularly!

So what you essentially want is a baby changing mat / waterproof sheet / towel to lay your child upon comfortably (on the floor), a packet of wipes/ cotton wool and water and finally a clean nappy.

For simple storage simply tuck your changing mat under the cot or perhaps down the side of the sofa for ease and accessibility during the day.

By simply using a changing mat on the floor you will find it is now more convenient to change your baby in any location as the mats are light and easy to transport. The price of a changing mat is fairly cheap and therefore you could even splurge and buy almost ten for the price of one changing table, that's one for every room of the house and probably a few more for the car too!

If you are adamant that you must have a designated changing surface, then the best option has to be a baby cot top changer. It simply sits across the cot /cot bed forming a secure work surface. Please note that the cot top changer should have a safety buckle or strap which is secured to the top rail.

Unlike the changing station, the cot top changer can be stored away without taking up vast amounts of space and its a fraction of the price!

Save yourself from wasting the 'real essentials' (money, time, effort, space, safety risks and more) and don't bother with a changing station!

Decorating your living room can be an exciting and fun task. From lighting and wall colors to furniture and fabri 00004000 cs, there are many components to properly decorating your living room area. One important aspect of this is picking out tables that match the style of your home.

Coffee tables, though perhaps the most important of living room tables, are just one type of what we call "occasional table." Occasional tables are just that - tables for specific occasion. In the case of coffee tables, we find a wide array of occasions. Coffee tables are the central table that people sit around in a living room. Usually it complements the sofa in both length and height, and it becomes both a decorative and functional table.

Coffee tables are used to display items in the household, and depending on the household, they're usually used for gathering. The extent to which the coffee table is functionally used really varies from household to household. Typically coffee tables are the most functionally used table in the living room.

End tables, also called side tables are usually placed at the end of the sofa or next to a chair. End tables usually hold a table lamp and some decorative items. Similarly, sofa tables are also highly decorative; these high standing tables are usually placed behind the sofa or against a wall and serve to hold decorative items. Unlike coffee tables, end tables and sofa tables are used primarily as decorative pieces in a room.

Depending on the style and theme of your living room, it's possible to mix and match pieces of living room furniture, including tables. Your end tables do not need to be from the same collection as your coffee table and sofa tables. The only thing that matters is that your tables are thematically consistent. You want your furniture to work well together. If you have a thematically rustic furnished room, for example, you want all of your furniture to follow suit. Beyond theme, however, your individual pieces can come from a variety of collections.

Some coffee tables come in a complete set with matching end tables and sofa tables. This might be an option for some people who prefer consistency, or who have little time to devote to redecorating. You might also consider whether you need each time of table in your space.

Although coffee tables are standard in every living room, not every room has space or need for a sofa table. You need to think of the room, and your needs in terms of space, decoration, and function; whatever your decorating desires, you will find occasional tables that work for you.

Nothing feels better than relaxing on a comfy bed mattress. Along with the comfort of the mattress, it is also equally important to give equal importance to the bed sheets as well. Bed sheets are definitely an integral part of the bedding. They not only protect the mattress, but also make the bed look more beautiful. An attractive colored bed sheet has the quality to revamp the look of the room as well. If you think that your room looks dull and boring, adding a well designed and nicely patterned bed sheet can completely change the look of the room.
Bed sheets are of many sizes. The type of bed you have determines the size of bed sheet you will need. The advancement of twin XL bedding, twin bed sheets have emerged as the most sought after size of the bed sheet. More and more people are opting for the large sized bed. The reason behind it is said to be the comfort factor. Beds are also seen as an element of home decoration. Moreover, the difference in price of a small size bed and a large size bed is not too much. Therefore people prefer to go for the twin XL bedding, rather than the small sized beds. These beds are also known by different names, such as twin X-LONG bedding, extra long twin bedding, twin long bedding, twin extra long bedding, dorm sized bedding, and college sized bedding. This type of bedding is more popular in hostels and dormitories. As it can easily accommodate two people at a time, so it is widely used in the hostels and hotels as well. There is no doubt that bed sheets are an important element of home decoration. Therefore you need to be very careful while choosing the bed sheet for your room. You must make it sure that the color and the hue of the bed sheet must match with the ambiance of your room. You should always purchase those bed sheets which have vibrant colors. It is very important to select the color wisely. The selection of color has a great effect on the mood or a person. The type of color you choose can affect the mood of the person lying on it. If the color is bright and vibrant, then it will create a cheerful atmosphere in the room. If you choose a boring a dull color, it will greatly affect the ambiance of the room. Dulls colors always have a negative effect on the mind of a person. Therefore you should always keep these things in mind.

A full size is 15" wider than a twin. The length is the same. The trouble you will have is with the fitted sheet and it will cost more than the twin. You can always order your set, try them and if you are unhappy just return them but it will cost you in shipping. I have a double pillow top twin bed and regular twin size sheets don't cover the whole bed and come off easily because they dont go under the mattress... I know there is "deep sheets" but they're too expensive. If I buy full size sheets do you think they will fit good?

				ANSWER:
I have an 18" deep King size mattress... talk about expensive sheets. What I did is I went to a place called Anna's Linnens (we have them here in Texas), if you don't have that you could just try WalMart, and I bought just one set of the deep pocket sheets. That was enough to tide me over, I just took them off washed them and put them back on, in the mean time I would wander thru the bedding departments of stores whenever I got a chance and check the clearence items... I've found 3 different sets of deep pocket sheets all clearenced for .00 or less. You just have to be willing to look.

Tropical print bedding can be used to create a perfect Hawaiian themed bedroom. It can in fact be used as the central point of the bedroom and, by incorporating the right designs, you can create a bedroom that inspires visions of the sun, sand and surf. In most instances, tropical bedding sets can be chosen so that the colors and images used on the items evoke thoughts of the best in Hawaiian culture. So it makes sense to choose palm trees swaying in the wind, exotic blossoms, tiki huts, and of course the beauty of ocean waves rising and falling.

If you manage to find the right Hawaiian comforter you can conjure up scenes that remind you of a very exciting tropical island getaway. You should of course realize the importance of making use of perfect Hawaiian motifs and so be prepared to include flora from the islands which means including bamboo and palm trees as well as the pretty hibiscus flowers renowned in the island chain. You should try and use as many different items that remind you of Hawaii.

Taking a scene straight out of a Hawaiian landscape, you can think about translating such scenes directly on the Hawaiian bedding as well as other bedding accessories. In fact, you can also use the Hawaiian landscape on accent pieces in the bedroom. All you need to do in order to make your bedroom really stand out is allow your imagination to run wild.

For example, it pays to find a bedding set that has palm trees bending to the wind, a pineapple motif or seashells. The end result will be to create a beautiful decor with the South Sea settings. And for accentuating the Hawaiian inspired theme further you may even like to install a bamboo shade on the window in your bedroom.

In fact, you can also use inexpensive bamboo matting on the floor and you can convert the ceiling fan by installing palm leaf paddles on it which will then help to create a perfect Hawaiian island ambiance. You should also pay special attention to the colors that will be used in the bedding items. So, be sure that you also choose a palette that suits your tastes and which reminds you of a perfect Hawaiian paradise.

Consider adding vibrant and lively colors which in turn could be chosen to match the beauty of the hibiscus, especially the pink hibiscus. Another option is to use deep orange that will remind you of the birds from Hawaii. In fact, you may even go a step further to use mango and pineapple colors which will help to accentuate the overall Hawaiian theme and try and also use brighter colors set against blue which will create a very pretty picture.

On your shelves as well as on the headboard you can make use of surfboards which will augment the effect of your Hawaiian bedding items. And instead of using tiki torches you ought to use candles that can create the effect of a Hawaiian beach at sunset. Also it helps to make use of silken palm trees that can be placed in a corner in your bedroom and a wind chime can also be used in order to create melodious sounds.

				ANSWER:
Howdy,

A great place to continue your chameleon husbandry research is on http://www.chameleonforums.com. I recommend using a ZooMed Reptisun 5.0 linear UVB tube. Most U.S. chameleon keepers don't use any substrate on the enclosure bottom. Keeping a spotlessly clean PVC bottom will minimize parasite, bacteria, and fungus propagation. Look into the LLL Reptile all-aluminum screen enclosures with PVC bottoms.

Here is an adult size (over 6 months) 24x24x48:
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-cages-glass-and-screen/-/24-x-24-x-48-inch-aluminum-screen-cage/

Here is a good size for 3 months to about 6 months 16x16x30:
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-cages-glass-and-screen/-/16-x-16-x-30-inch-aluminum-screen-cage/

You might get away with 18x18x36 for a 3 month to 9 month:
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-cages-glass-and-screen/-/18-x-18-x-36-inch-aluminum-screen-cage/

They make a great drip pan in matching sizes. Just drill some 3/16" holes in the PVC cage bottom to let excess water drip through from long misting sessions. Then set up the pan to drain out into a drain bucket via a tubing and fittings from Home Depot etc.

My sister advised me to buy a toddler travel bed because it is becoming an increasingly popular child sleep aid for parents who need to travel frequently. I purchased the travel bed, as I need to go for official tours frequently and my daughter always feel at home because she stays in her familiar travel bed

Toddler travel bed is not only helpful outside your home but also allows children to sleep safely whil 00004000 e in a transitional bedding phase. These portable beds provide a safe alternative to a large, unknown sleeping area that a child may come across when staying in a hotel room during a vacation or spending the night at grandmas house or during camping.

Child's travel bed is also a great way to accommodate a child who has outgrown the space of their crib, but is not yet big enough to spend their nights in a regular-sized bed. In this case, parent can save money by bringing a travel bed into their home for a lower price rather than buying an "in-between" bed

All new parents should purchase a good quality childs portable travel bed. Toddler travel bed should provide ample airy comfort that will send your little one soaring into dreamland. Inflatable air mattress beds are very popular because it allows children to drift quietly off to sleep.

			QUESTION:
Fitted sheet for travel cot with extra padding?!?!?
I'm going on holiday in June with my 2 year old son, he will be sleeping in his travel cot for the full week and the mattress provided seems quite hard! I understand that it's not a good idea to get a mattress for it as the mesh sides can give, leaving a gap between edge of cot and mattress where he could become lodged and even suffocate but I read a few questions on here and it seems there's a fitted travel cot sheet with padding available in Australia, apparently it's called 'the sleepover'! I looked on ebay to no avail, does anyone know where I could get one in the UK?

				ANSWER:
Just get a twin size foam mattress cover and cut it to fit. He's 2 years old and I don't think he will smother. You can make your own sheets for it.
Does anyone have one of these travel systems? I need to know what size sheets to buy (the shop I orered from are no help whatsoever)
I'm not in the UK, the shop I have ordered the stuff from does not sell pram sheets. The ones from Mothercare are not the right size. Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the mattress if they have a similar carrycot? Thanks.

Toile baby bedding has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the course of the past decade--although hardly for the first time, given the fact that this unique and elegant fabric first made its grand entrance during the eighteenth century. After a long dormant period, toile has enjoyed an amazing resurgence in popularity, becoming a staple for designers preparing a special haven for a little one.

Characterized by finely detailed prints depicting humble scenes of bygone rural life, toile's consistent ability to introduce elegance and tranquility into any space has made it an understandable favorite. Better yet, toile designs are now offered in a host of exciting new color combination unimagined at the time of its inception, ranging from dramatic pairings of cream and espresso to stunning black and ivory ensembles.

Those hoping to create an impressive and beautiful nursery for the son whose arrival they are so eagerly anticipating may feel some initial hesitation about toile as they shop for baby boy bedding. If you favor simple American country decor, you might think that a toile nursery is too "upscale", but most toile designs fuse seamlessly with this particular existing home decor.

				ANSWER:
I don't know, but I would love to find that out too. Only I have boys. I'll either buy something with the same theme, like thomas the train or something, so they'll be the same but different(does that even make sense. lol) or I will buy the material and make it all myself or maybe I should say attempt to make it myself.

Living in a climate that frequents the freezing mark necessitates a great set of flannel flat sheets. They will keep you warm during chilly winter nights. Fine quality sheets will last a long time. How can you locate the best flannel flat sheets and keep them looking new for years to come?

Nothing's really in a name. J.C. Penny, L.L. Bean, Big Lots - all these companies sell high quality flannel sheets. No matter which dollar store or department store you pick to purchase your sheets, make sure your flannel flat sheets contain:

Heavy, 100% cotton.

Yarn-dyed fabric. Printed material time and again fades quicker than the yarn-dyed variety.

Tightly woven material. If you can see through your sheets easily when you hold them up to light, then they are not woven tightly enough.

Five- to six-ounce fabric weight. Usually, bed sheets of high quality have high thread counts. However, flannel flat sheets that have five to six ounces provide an exceptional amount of durability and warmth. These, too, will endure a higher number machine washings, when compared to thin flannel sheets.

You have to adequately care for you flannel flat sheets if you want them to last. The first wash should contain a small amount of white vinegar to prevent pilling. Do not use any detergent. Use a gentle detergent, like Woolite, for subsequent machine washings in warm water. This will keep the colors from fading. Don't use bleach or detergents with bleach alternatives, liquids too harsh for flannel. Soften your flannel flat sheets with liquid softener or a dryer sheet.

			QUESTION:
Where to get toddler bed sheet sets (fitted bottom, top flat)?
I have searched for bottom and top sheets for a toddler bed and cannot find any without having to buy a whole bedding set that also includes the comforter. These sets are not that cheap ( and up) and we already have quite a few comforters that were hand made and given to us before my grandson was born.

So, I do have a sewing machine, but finding the time is another question and cost wise...would it be cheaper to make? Fitted bottom sheets run .89 to at walmart.

What is your opinion or have you found sheet sets (without the comforters) for decent prices and where?

Thank you to all who answer.

				ANSWER:
I too asked this question before, I know you can use regular crib sheets but wanted the top sheet as well. I haven't looked into getting any, but just found these for you -
QUESTION:
Which is better? For my sons toddler bed...?
My son is 15 months old and hasnt slept in his own bed since he was 9 months old. His bed has been converted into a day bed and is right beside my bed. My plan is to buy a bed set he likes in hopes he will start sleeping all night in his "big boy bed". Here is my problem. Looking at elmo bedding at walmart.com I can buy:

*an Elmo room in a box which includes a toddler bed (no bedding) a 9 bin toy organizer, and a wooden table with 2 stools. For .00

*Elmo bed set (comforter, fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillow case) for .54

I could buy a combination of elmo things:
*bed set, organizer, table and chairs for .50
*room in a box and bed set 3
*bed set and organizer .04

My son loves sitting at the little tables because every timeI go to my friends house he sits at their little table. I already have a toddler bed so I really dont need another one. I've been wanting to get a toy box or organizer for a while.

What should I do and why?

He would love anything we do but I dont know which choice.

O yeah here is the list of the items and prices of them:
*elmo bed set 32.54
*elmo 9 bin organizer 29.00
*elmo table and 2 chairs 29.88
*room in a box 80.00
*multi bin organizer with toy box 29.50

				ANSWER:
You should go with the bed set, organizer, and table and chairs
Why: your son will more likely do EVERYTHING in his room if you buy things that clash together. If everything does not clash together than more than likely he will think that his room isn't something that he wants to be in. If it's something that he enjoys than it's always worth the money!

Hope this helps.

I have been looking for a Batman toddler bedset forever and I can't seem to find one! Batman is a popular guy so why is this so hard?! Please give me a heads up if you know of a place that sells it!
